400-plus wounded in Beslan hostage crisisMore than 400 victims of a three-day hostage crisis in southern Russia were being treated Friday at area hospitals, Rossiya TV reported.

Officials were counting bodies at the North Ossetia school where terrorists, believed to be Chechen Muslims, had held hundreds hostages for more than two days.

Of the 400-plus wounded, at least 99 were children.
